Migration Check
Before you switch to a new site: will every old link, ranking and bookmark still land somewhere?

A redesign or a move to a new platform is the easiest way to lose months of search traffic: old addresses return 404, redirects are temporary or go in chains, and the staging site's 'noindex' goes live. The agent collects every address of the current site from its sitemap and links, tries each one on the new site, and compares titles, descriptions and indexing settings. You get the list of what breaks and exactly which redirects to add before switching.

Sample dataVerdict
Not ready to switch
Not ready: 23 old addresses, including the three most-linked blog posts, would return 404, and the new site still says 'noindex'.
Why
- 12 page(s) on the new site say 'noindex'
- 23 of 118 old address(es) don't work on the new site — 404 · /blog/kako-izabrati-hosting 404 · /usluge/izrada-sajtova 404 · /cenovnik
- 9 redirect(s) are temporary (302/307)
- Addresses tried
- 118
- Kept
- 71
- Redirected
- 24
- Lost (4xx/5xx)
- 23
Evidence 4
Every finding behind the verdict, with the fix where there is one.
Fix: Remove the noindex robots tag before switching, or these pages disappear from Google.
Before switching
- 1.Turn off 'Discourage search engines' in the new site's settings.
- 2.Add 301 redirects for the 23 lost addresses, starting with /cenovnik and the blog posts.
- 3.Change the 9 temporary redirects to 301.
